I have a Vizio soundbar that keeps shutting off after a few seconds of continuous use. It cuts off for two, three, or even up to 20 seconds and then turns back on after that period. At this point, I’m not even sure what the problem is or how to fix it.

The most effective approach to determine if this is the issue is to turn off your Vizio soundbar and allow it to cool before turning it back on. This time, the sound will continue to play for a longer period until it becomes unusable.
Vizio soundbars turn off the amplifier to safeguard the circuit board when necessary. Lights will flicker and react differently than normal to indicate that there is a problem. The remedy to this issue is to clean your soundbar thoroughly. There is something called dirt that is the primary cause of this issue.
Using compressed air, you may clean the soundbar to a certain extent by spraying it into the slots on the rear of the unit.
To thoroughly clean the soundbar, you will need to remove it from its case and thoroughly clean it. It will not become too hot when it has been cleaned, and the dust has been removed, and you will notice a huge difference.

If you are not having the issue mentioned above, but your soundbar is still experiencing sound cutting out, restarting and resetting your soundbar may benefit you. Restarting does not make a big difference; however, resetting the computer may resolve the problem if a setting causes the problem.
Change the source device.
Using a certain source device with your Vizio soundbar may also encounter this problem. For example, if your soundbar is linked to your television, connecting it to another device, such as your smartphone, might serve as a test and see whether the issue continues to occur.
Switch input method
