Restart the Altice Box

Troubleshoot the Altice Remote By Pressing 7 and 9

This key combination exits pairing mode and puts the remote in regular control mode for the first time. As soon as the light starts flashing, navigate to Settings > Preferences > Pair Remote Control to pair the remote control. In order to proceed, press and hold the remote’s keys 7 and 9.
Hold the two keys for at least 10 seconds and release. The flashing light will go away, and you can resume using the remote.
Replace the Batteries
An insufficient battery charge may sometimes cause the remote to get separated from the receiver. This may be resolved by replacing the old batteries with fresh ones. Duracells or Energizers are the best batteries to use since they keep the most energy.

It is possible that rechargeable batteries will not provide enough power to the batteries because of the lower voltage they produce.

Explain what’s going on with the problem and what you’ve done so far in order to resolve it. A technician may be sent to your home if they believe it is necessary. They may ask you to try something else first.
Replace the Device
If you need a new remote, please contact Optimum to arrange for a replacement remote. Inform them of the problem and request that it be replaced. If you are successful in persuading them, they will give you a replacement report through regular mail.
